The Vatican approves Darwin’s theory!

So now the Vatican, and after 150 years, discovered that Darwin’s theory of natural selection doesn’t contradict the bible’s story of creation and thus they approve it!

It took the Church that long to understand their own scriptures! So how long would it take for Muslim clerks to look deep into the Quran and give the green light for Darwin’s theory?

Is it possible that natural selection doesn’t contradict with the Quran story as well?

Nothing is impossible, no?

  1. Natural selection theory doesn’t contradict Islam.according to wikipedia“Natural selection is the process by which favorable heritable traits become more common in successive generations of a population of reproducing organisms, and unfavorable heritable traits become less common, due to differential reproduction of genotypes. “This doesn’t contradict Islam by any way. Darwin proved the possibility of evolution, but he didn’t prove that human started as monkey, and also the very neat construction of human being puzzled Darwin.

ونرى هنا معنى عدلك هو معنى فيزيائي وليس اجتماعياً لأنه جاء في آية واحدة مع الخلق والتسوية، والخلق والتسوية هنا لهما معان مادية وليست اجتماعية بمعنى العدل ضد الظلم… just read more ..expand your views… maybe this time you’ll see islam in a different view…

  3. Abed, most Muslim clergies refuses Darwin’s theory of natural selection, no? Anon, is this Dr. Mohd Shahror? I went over the page on his site. I remember watching him on TV as well. He has a very intelligent interpretation of Quran versus and very logical approach of explaining things and refute its contradiction with science. I do admire him so much. I just don’t see other Muslim clergy following his views and teachings. There is a contraversy around his views. Contraversy that I hope to end for his benefit. We need more people like him. Marie, I love it too!!! I guess this is what attracts us to Paulo Coelho in the first place, no?🙂

You fucken piece of shit! Quran is more pro science than your ass-wipe bible which has nothing to do with the bible to begin with you faggot! You better show some respect mother fucker, and show proof that there’s an “Islamic” position on this. Islam is not like your fucken Christianity full of myth and bullshit! It doesn’t have a “Pope” to legitimize or make things “holy and accepted”. Islam didn’t prosecute scientists, to the contrary Islam respected scientists the most.So stop your fucken hatred against Islam and respect your fucken self, faggot! It took your pedophile church two hundred years to realize they’re fucked up in the head. How long it will take you to realize how big of an asshole you are

  5. Mohannad, the definition you are looking at is too narrow. Natural selection is the cornerstone of evolution which is accepted by almost all scientists. It’s counter to most theories of creation (religions). I’m not sure particularly about Islam, but when it comes to Christianity, the whole god created the world in 7 days thing just doesn’t match the fossil evidence. Some people argue that this is not 7 earth days but that is ridiculous since the bible was written for us not anyone on another planet. Anyway it’s one of many inconsistencies in the bible that don’t match historical and scientific evidence, so it’s not really that glaring. To me the pope might as well admit (we’ve been fooling you this long, hahaha!)

  6. no they are not contradictory and many muslim scholars have been arguing that for years. or to be more precise, i’ve never heard of a real argument against the vatican’s recent conclusion, islam stands on the principle that God did create everything but He used an evolutionary process to do so. if a new species was born, it was done through an evolution, by the will of God.but islam does not sanction “random mutation”

  7. Sorry shouldn’t have said that without an actual quote, this is from Gensis right at the beginning of the bible:1In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. 3Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. 5God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day. 6Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” 7Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so. 8And God called the firmament Heaven. So the evening and the morning were the second day. 9Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so. 10And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good. 11Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so. 12And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 13So the evening and the morning were the third day. 14Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; 15and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so. 16Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. 17God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth, 18and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19So the evening and the morning were the fourth day. 20Then God said, “Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens.” 21So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.” 23So the evening and the morning were the fifth day. 24Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind”; and it was so. 25And God made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 26Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” 29And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. 30Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so. 31Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day. 2Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. 2And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. 3Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made. 4This is the history of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,

  8. No.What Islam disapprove of is not the natural selection. Not even the evolution as a concept. But what Islam disapprove of is that human was animal then after some evolution it became human, which is something Darwin couldn’t prove. What Darwin prove is that there IS evolution, that’s all. He didn’t know how it happened, and he didn’t prove that human was animals as the atheists like to believe. Actually if you dig Islam, you will find a verse where Angles say why create human that will kill and shed blood on earth, and how did they know ? it’s because there were creatures other than human before on this earth, something that modern science proved. Islam has never given a certain date to when life started on earth either, which also doesn’t contradict any modern science. Actually this precision in Islam in those small things that made my beliefs more firm, because it’s very unlikely and irrational (to me) that one human could make all this up.

  9. Hani, I get your point, but you know how texts are interpreted. There is always a potential for a twist, spin, and hidden meanings😉Nas, you don’t usually get such answer from Muslims scholars. If there is a unanimous agreement on what you said then it is good. For Darwin’s natural selection have a strong credibility and it would be good to not to discredit it because of belief.Abed, actually ya Abed humans ARE animals. That is how they are classified scientifically. If you look at the discoveries of humans ancestors, you can find different phases of human evolution. It wasn’t like an ape slept one day and woke up to be a man. It has been a long time process of evolution.

its so sad the guy with the bad words had to express himself with such with that type of language especially during the Holy Month. May peace be with him.

  11. it’s the same hole in darwin theory, he never proved how the evolution was done, and was puzzled with the precision of the creature, something he never explained. please read the article i gave u above with care, and search about it

  12. I think they are contradictory. And those who believe in both are either twisting the religion or are only taking parts of the theory of evolution. Most probably they’re doing both. But, everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and interpretations. For me, I choose the theory of evolution over religion.PS. In the theory of evolution, every complex organ was formed by numerous, successive, slight modifications. As in, not only we evolved from chimpanzees, we (and the chimpanzees) actually evolved from one celled organisms like a bacteria.

  13. “But what Islam disapprove of is that human was animal then after some evolution it became human, which is something Darwin couldn’t prove.” ——– How could he prove it? It hasn’t happened yet.

  14. Don Cox:That is new to me. So now a new version of the theory. But what happened to the romantic pictures of a monkey walking then becoming a man ?? wasn’t this a romantic proof that man a chimpanzee ??

salam, I quote from a web site:

Darwin's Theory of Evolution – A Theory In Crisis

Darwin's Theory of Evolution is a theory in crisis in light of the tremendous advances we've made in molecular biology, biochemistry and genetics over the past fifty years. We now know that there are in fact tens of thousands of irreducibly complex systems on the cellular level. Specified complexity pervades the microscopic biological world. Molecular biologist Michael Denton wrote, “Although the tiniest bacterial cells are incredibly small, weighing less than 10-12 grams, each is in effect a veritable micro-miniaturized factory containing thousands of exquisitely designed pieces of intricate molecular machinery, made up altogether of one hundred thousand million atoms, far more complicated than any machinery built by man and absolutely without parallel in the non-living world.” [5]

And we don't need a microscope to observe irreducible complexity. The eye, the ear and the heart are all examples of irreducible complexity, though they were not recognized as such in Darwin's day. Nevertheless, Darwin confessed, “To suppose that the eye with all its inimitable contrivances for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light, and for the correction of spherical and chromatic aberration, could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest degree.” [6]

you see here, Darwin himself confess that his theory is nothing but pure bullshit, then what are you talking about over here??.
